The motto of TripPlans is the essence of our community. We provide specific travel plans for travelers around the globe. Just as important, we are an online community of travelers who share a passion for travel planning.
Other travel websites may provide high-level itineraries for travel locations, but travelers still have to do so much work to gather that information into one spot and into a common format. TripPlans provides a common detailed template for travelers to share with one another.
What to do first?
- We recommend you begin by downloading the FREE TripTemplate™ in either Microsoft Excel or iWork Numbers format. This is the template we use to plan all of our travels.
- Next, take a look at the FREE Instant Itineraries. Instant Itineraries are TripTemplates that we and travelers in the TripPlans community have used in their travels.
They are the actual plans people have use to have adventures all around the world.
Download them, then use them as is or modify them to your heart’s desire. - Finally, if you use an Instant Itinerary or develop your own using the TripTemplate, submit it to triptemplate@tripplans.net and we will upload it for the whole TripPlans community to use.
